Signs It Might Be Time for New Tires

1. The Tread’s Getting Low

Your tire tread is what keeps your car glued to the road. When it wears down, your stopping distance increases, increasing risk on your daily commute. The classic penny test still works: stick a penny into your tire tread with Lincoln’s head down. If you see the top of his head, it’s time to start shopping for new tires.

2. Cracks, Bulges, or Weird Spots

The OCJ Tools for Success drive helped Arizona foster youth gear up for the school year, with

support from our North Phoenix community.

This summer, we wrapped up another meaningful season supporting the OCJ Tools for Success school supply drive. This program was designed to help Arizona foster youth start the school year with the tools they need to succeed.

Over the past couple of years, Precision Tire and Auto Center has served as a donation drop-off site for this incredible cause, and every year we are reminded how generous and thoughtful our North Phoenix community really is.

Throughout June and July, our front office filled with backpacks, pencils, notebooks, markers, and all the little things that help a student feel prepared and confident walking into a new classroom. This year, for every $20 backpack that was donated, we matched, doubling the impact! Thanks to your generosity, a total of 14 backpacks were sponsored, and we matched all 14, helping 28 students head into the new school year ready to learn.

The Tools for Success drive, organized by OCJ Kids, does more than distribute supplies. It helps ensure that children in foster care feel supported and valued during a time that can often feel uncertain. It’s a cause that is close to our hearts, and we are grateful to be a small part of it year after year.
